About Us
Kinnitty National School is a primary school located in the beautiful village of Kinnitty. and was established in 1965. There have been two extensions to the school since then. One in the 1980s for the amalgamation of Kinnitty, Cadamstown and Longford schools and another extension in 2012 with the completion of a fifth large classroom and additional support room.
We currently have 119 children in the school, ranging from junior infants to 6th class. We have five mainstream class teachers, two special education teachers, two special needs assistants, Mrs Coughlan our secretary and Seamus O'Brien our caretaker. Our principal is Ms Fleury and our deputy is Mrs Scully. We are proud of our school.
